Park House Healthcare

Another big year at Wounds UK

Fri, 18 Nov 2011

The annual Wounds UK Conference is one of the largest Wound Healing and Management events in the UK, attracting delegates predominantly from the acute sector, ranging from Clinical Specialists to Tissue Viability Nurses and Ward Managers. This year’s event and plenary sessions were designed to reflect the balance those providing tissue viability services currently face in terms of meeting their clinical commitments, while also dealing with wider budgetary and strategic changes that affect service delivery.

Park House Healthcare exhibited alongside 165 other exhibitors, their custom made stand was designed and built specifically for the conference and mirrored the company’s professional new image. Throughout 2011 Park House Healthcare have continued to invest in the design and development of innovative solutions to achieving positive patient outcomes, with the key focus being - to ‘help patients get better, quicker’.

The newest innovation to Park House Healthcare is the Endeavour 3000 Acute Care Bed. This is first model in the Endeavour Hospital Bed Range and is due to be launched in early December. The Endeavour 3000 was showcased for the first time on the stand at Wounds UK and generated some serious interest.

Stand space was completely sold out at the event and judging by the number of delegates the conference was a massive success all round. In comparison to last year delegate numbers had increased by 20%, a great achievement given the current financial climate. During the conference Park House Healthcare entertained numerous key figures in the healthcare industry, including Claire James, Director of the Your Turn Campaign, and judging from the positive feedback received after the event, it was a truly successful three days.

Well done Justine Lacquiere, from Barnet and Chase Farm NHS Trust, who was the very lucky winner of an iPad 2 in our on-stand competition.
