Infection Control

The multi stretch PU cover is waterproof, vapour permeable and impregnated with Acti-fresh biocide to help prevent the build up of bacteria and ensure it can be easily cleaned to aid disinfection protocols

High frequency welded seams and integral covered hoses reduce the risk of fluid ingress

The entire mattress cell system and cover can be completely removed and laundered up to 80°C to aid decontamination protocols

The simple tactile control panel can be easily wiped clean to ensure there is no harbouring of pathogens unlike traditional dials and switched

Pressure Area Care

Once alternating mode is set, the power unit will adjust the internal cell pressure to suit the individual patient weight within the chosen morphology weight range

The three static cells in the head section are designed to accommodate patients who suffer from motion sickness

Ease of Use

The 10 minute start-up static mode allows the carer time to position and prepare the patient on the support surface

Auto lock out function prevents any unauthorised setting changes to the pump unit

Automatic shut off valves in the pump unit prevent the mattress from deflating during power failures allowing the mattress to retain static pressure for up to 24 hours

Easy access and simple to use CPR tag allows rapid deflation of the mattress within 10 seconds to aid emergency procedures

Service and Maintenance

Dual tone audible alarms distinguish between low pressure and power failure to help reduce downtime.

A self diagnostic alarm bypass is incorporated to avoid unnecessary engineer visits

The power unit incorporates circuit breakers as opposed to conventional fuses to minimise disruption due to power surges

Easy access air filters help prolong the life and reliability of the pump unit

Independent cell construction means that all parts i.e. cover, cells, tubing can be replaced to save ongoing maintenance costs

"We have had Park House mattresses in our equipment stores for approximately 10 years. We have had excellent service from the company and the mattresses have always been very reliable. We upgraded to the Phase III and have been very pleased with the product. Although I have not done a formal evaluation I have found the Phase III to be very effectively clinically and simple to use."
